My religion is Islam. In Arabic the word Islam means peace and obedience to Allah. That is to say that Muslims should live in peace with all men while obeying the commands of his Creator. Islam is not a new religion is the religion Allah has revealed to all prophets from Adam (peace be upon him) to Prophet Muhammad (Peace and blessings of God be upon him).
Every Muslim must observe the five pillars of Islam:
1) The profession of faith: that is to say that we must believe that there is only one God and that Muhammad (PBDSL ) is His last prophet.
2) A Muslim must pray five times daily (it helps to be always in relation to Allah).
3) He must give alms mandatory once a year. This charity is called Zakat.
4) As soon as he reaches puberty, he must fast during Ramadan.
5) He must make the pilgrimage to Mecca at least once in his life if he can afford.
In addition to this, Islam shows us the right path to follow in our lives whether we are big or small. Thus, a Muslim will always try to do good for himself and others, as Allah has shown him.
