White Goo In Lip Piercing

BRIGHTON De Koog (Texel) _ 13 km

After a night spent camping in Den Helder, we leave our vehicle on July 5 at the ferry port of Den Helder, 100 km north of Amsterdam. The ferry takes us to Texel, an island belonging to the archipelago of the Wadden islands, bordered by the Wadden Sea to the east and the North Sea to the west. We are not here by chance, the info found on the website "Planet roller" indicate that Texel is an island ideal for practice Skating part of its wilderness and especially many bicycle paths (as everywhere in Holland for that matter). We therefore embark on the ferry with our skates in hand, our bags loaded with ultra-light (virtually the same equipment as for our 37-day hike in the Alps last year). We must also carry walking poles to mount the shelter, they are hooked to bags Toutanmesh.
For this first experience of touring with hiking backpack and roller, our team is made up of three adults quadra (Denis, Cathy and Frances) and two "teenagers" (Melissa and Apollonia). We are not pros skating and some even sometimes hard to brake, where the full panoply of protection!

arrived on the island, we headed towards the chief place "Den Burg" with a track surface and variable along the road. Good prospects of the polders and the half-barns oriented upwind.

Visiting the village is in socks or roller "Freestyle" because as we will check later, the Dutch cities were often paved streets. We continue to De Koog we find a beautiful campsite in the dunes of the National Park which covers all dunes west of the island.
We have the feeling to bivouac in the wilderness, completely isolated from neighboring shrubs.
Melissa Frances and discover the delights of meals on the floor with alcohol stove and mess ... It's nice, but the wind is strong: the North!
