San Francisco is the fourth largest city in California on the west coast of the United States, after Los Angeles, San Diego, and San Jose. The city, which had 739 426 inhabitants in 2005, is located at the north end of the San Francisco Peninsula, between the Pacific Ocean and the Bay of San Francisco. San Francisco is the densest city in the U.S. population after New York.
The main symbols of the city are the Golden Gate Bridge, Alcatraz, the Transamerica Pyramid, Coit Tower and the cable cars. This city is beautiful, surely one of the finest in the USA.
