Boxing Day victory for Holland, savored live at the campsite restaurant (Hup Holland!), Tasted victory at the campsite with phlegm, no noise at the campsite 15 minutes after the game: amazing!
As we head south through the dike along the Waddenzee.
We begin by making an unnecessary detour before finding access to the dam and dikes on the waves while ironing polder side regularly. 
In mudflats, a multitude of birds out of sight on the slopes of the dike, sheep tend the lawns. 
Many typically Dutch scenes, as windmill overlooking a landscape of channels. 
us The Crosswind gene bit early but, following the contour of the island curving westward, we find almost the opposite: there it becomes much harder. A Oudeschill we decide to give up because the wind was added rain. We take the bus to the ferry.
The next day, after having had a look at the big dam that closes the IJsselmeer (bicycle low over the highway), we take the seawall that runs from Medemblik Enkhuizen: beautiful mix atop the IJsselmeer dike bordering and overlooking the beautiful villages and polders (thirty miles). On the road to Amsterdam, visiting the splendors of Edam and Volendam made on foot (pavés!!).
